VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland is in search for 200 test drivers to participate in research project TeleFOT in Oulu region. Through field operational tests to be conducted in Oulu region, VTT is studying the impacts of the use of smart phones and navigation devices for driver support in traffic.

Tests developed in TeleFOT are aimed at a comprehensive assessment of the efficiency, quality, robustness and user friendliness of in-vehicle systems for smarter, safer and cleaner driving.

TeleFOT project aims to test the impacts of driver support functions on the driving task with large fleets of test drivers, 3 000 in total, in real-life driving conditions. Four-year, Europe-wide project is led by VTT.
