OmaOulu portal was awarded customer service award in electronic communications - 07.02.2010

The OmaOulu portal, delivered by Ixonos in 2008, has been awarded The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communication’s customer service award in electronic communications. Suvi Lindén, Finnish Minister of Communications, awarded the recognition to the City of Oulu on 2 February 2010.

The OmaOulu portal is an e-service and network portal delivered by Ixonos. The portal provides the citizens of Oulu with access to a wide range of the city's e-services as well as other information services. The grounds for the award give thanks to the portal’s in-built customer authentication and information security, centralized offering of services as well as the ability for users to customize the content to meet their own needs.
